Natasha X. Che -
Natasha Xingyuan Che is an economist at the IMF. she has a variety of research interests, including industrial structural change, intangible/ organizational capital, economic growth, and business cycle.

Natasha brings creativity, synthesis, and a propensity towards application into her research projects.  In her most recent research on the relationship between countries' capital endowments and the capital intensity of their industrial structures, she found that higher "structural coherence" is crucial to a country's economic growth.

Natasha has worked in different policy institutions including the World Bank and the US Senate. She received her PhD and master degrees in Economics from Georgetown University in Washington DC, and bachelor degrees in Economics, Applied Mathematics and English Literature from Peking University in Beijing.
 
In her leisure time, Natasha likes yoga, hiking, meditation, road trips, and creative writing.
